Daspletosaurus was a theropod dinosaur with short arms that lived in North America during the Late Cretaceous. It is closely related to its much larger cousin, Tyrannosaurus. The most notable member of the Daspletosaurus is Daphne and her dad Mr. Daspletosaurus.

- In the series, it shows young Daspletosaurus standing upright and their heads resembled to the adults but in reality they held their spines horizontally and their heads are longer and thinner. Young Daspletosaurus are more agile than the adults.
