Mawsonia is a ancient fish related to the modern day coelacanth. It was the largest fish of the Cretaceous sea. It was found in Africa and South America. In dinosaur train the Mawsonia named Chester is the largest fish in the Big Misty Sea. However, for unknown reason, during Big Misty Sea Fishing Contest, Chester's appearance resembles to a predatory fish from Cretaceous period, called Xiphactinus. (even though there's actual Mawsonia in that episode)
