The Switcher is a small steam locomotive just like the Time Travel Train, but lacks a tender and passenger coaches. As it's name suggests, it's a switcher locomotive that arranges all the different types of train cars at Troodon Town Station and the Roundhouse. On one occasion when the Dinosaur Train broke down just outside Troodon Town Station, Mrs. Conductor got the switcher to pull the train into the station and the roundhouse before it turned around and headed back to the Cretaceous time period.
